Mumbai: Clean up. That's the message that Mumbai Chaka Chak, a film starring Rahul Bose, Mandira Bedi and Cyrus Broacha wants to get across.
Playing BMC workers Khoka and Ok, Rahul and Cyrus have their own solutions to clean up Mumbai.
"I think the dirtiest problem is the people, remove all the people send to Delhi and let the Centre take care of all of them," Cyrus said.
Rahul Bose has another idea. "Incorporate the urban poor, give them their rights and they will give back to the system,” he says.
Playing the role of BMC commissioner in the film is former hockey coach Mir Ranjan Negi. And he has his own way of dealing with the problem.
"I'll make all those who spit take 20,000 rounds of the beach," he says.
With the Bombay Municipal Corporation supporting and collaborating with the film, everyone's hoping the message gets across to the millions of Mumbaikars when Mumbai Chaka Chak hits theatres in August this year.
