Mumbai police gun down dreaded gangster

Mumbai: The Mumbai police gunned down a dreaded gangster in the Tulsidham area of Thane district on Sunday night.

Vikram Rudra Pratap Singh alias Vicky belonged to the Ramesh Upadhyay gang.

There were 19 cases of robbery, attempt to murder and other crimes registered against him in various police stations in Thane and Navi Mumbai.

He was also the main accused in the robbery at the Navi Mumbai National Bank.

“He has been killed. There were many other cases against him and we are getting to know of them now,” said additional CP (crime) Prashant Burde.
