New Delhi: Almost 44 of the 46 held after the Mumbai Police busted an alleged rave party at suburban Juhu's Oakwoods Hotel on the night of May 20 have tested positive for drugs, sources said on Friday.
As many as 100 people, including IPL players, namely Wayne Parnell and Rahul Sharma, and 19 foreign nationals, were detained by the police after they busted the party. However, the test reports of the cricketers are yet to come.
The police had also arrested the party organiser, Vishesh Vijay Handa, under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
The patrons were released in the wee hours the next day after their blood and urine samples were taken for medical examination.
The police claimed to have seized approximately 110 grams of cocaine along with MDMA, popularly known as ecstasy, and charas from the site.
