Mumbai: Eleven persons, including four women, were detained for allegedly possessing cocaine in a raid conducted at an apartment in Cuffe Parade area of south Mumbai on Sunday, police said.
"The Anti-Narcotics Cell following a tip off raided the apartment and found 11 persons including four women. We have also recovered cocaine from the residence," Deputy Commissioner of Police (Anti-Narcotics Cell) Vishwas Nangre Patil told PTI.
Further investigations were on and the amount of cocaine seized could not be disclosed yet, he said.
The blood and urine samples of the persons nabbed will be sent for forensic tests following which the future course of action will be decided, police officials said.
