Mumbai: Mumbai's famous dabba service database has many a satisfied customer. Only this service is 'only for pooches' - a calorie counted, healthy food service delivered every day to hungry pet dogs across the city.

It's the brainchild of 28-year-old Wasiff Khan who started Homecare Dogfood with barely Rs 10,000.

"When we get a client, we do extensive research about their breed, eating habits, allergies if any and its only then that we create a meal for them," says Khan.

Khan's service now has more than 500 customers including Shah Rukh Khan's dog and Aishwarya Rai's dog.

Every day, scooters leave his Bandra kitchen at 10:00 am, so that every dog can have his meal exactly at the correct time. After all, a dog is not just a dog -- like Deepti Aman Premji's pet, Snoop, who is very much part of the family.

"I don't think about my dog as a pet. He is like my son and I want the best for him," says she.

Wasiff Khan says he is now getting a lot of offers for franchises in other cities -- perhaps worldwide fame like the other dabba service for humans is not far behind.
