Mumbai: Baroda pacer Munaf Patel has been selected in the West Zone squad led by Parthiv Patel for the upcoming Deodhar Trophy inter-zonal one-day tournament to be held in Guwahati from March 10-13.
West, have got a bye into the semi-final on March 12 and would take on the winners of the quarter final game between South and East scheduled on the first day.
The other semi final, on March 11, will feature North and Central and the winners of the semi-finals are to meet in the final on March 13.
Former India pacer Pandurang Salgaonkar is the team's manager and the coach is ex-Baroda player Mukund Parmar, the Mumbai Cricket Association said in a release.
West Zone squad: Parthiv Patel (Capt), Wasim Jaffer, Ambati Rayudu, Rohit Sharma, Kedar Jadhav, Yusuf Pathan, Abhishek Nayar, Munaf Patel, Jaydev Unadkat, Dhawal Kulkarni, Rakesh Dhruv, Kamlesh Makwana, Manpreet Juneja, Aditya Waghmode, Vijay Zol.
