BANGALORE:  The sleuths of organised crime wing of CCB arrested notorious history-sheeter Mulama and his associate Raghu, 25. Police seized four 9 mm pistols, a country-made gun and 13 live bullets from Raghu. Acting on a tip-off, they nabbed him near Kempegowda Bus Stand in Majestic.
Police said Raghu was a close aide of Mulama’s associate Manja, who is hiding in a foreign country. Police said the latter handles anti-social activities from abroad, and had planned to murder some persons in the city. Hence, he had summoned Raghu to plot the murder and arrange for weapons. To discuss the plan, Raghu had met Manja abroad.
“Raghu was building a group to execute the plan. Based on a tip-off, he was nabbed and after interrogations, Mulama was arrested. Seized weapons were recovered from the associates of another rowdy,” police said.
