My role in Kaminey very real: Priyanka Chopra

Mumbai: After having back-to-back hits at the box office last year, Miss Piggy Chops is making all the smart moves. Tuesday night saw Priyanka Chopra unveil the March issue of L'officiel magazine featuring herself on the cover, at a city hotel in Mumbai.

"I am just trying to do magazines which are different, pictures which are different. Running away from convention has become a habit for me. I am doing magazine covers and and trying to balance them with my work, so it's fun," says she.

Apart from posing for the shutter bugs, Priyanka also spoke about her true moment of joy at a recent awards function where she grabbed the best actor award in the female category.

"I won't say I was expecting it, I won't say I was not somewhere in the middle but I am glad Fashion was accepted and so was my work," says she.

And although she was tightlipped about her forthcoming release Kaminey, she did say a few thing about the character she played.

"My character in the movie is a sweet, lovely girl who is a Maharastrian and speaks fluent Marathi. At the same time, she is very real. She doesn't spend time on her hair, make up etc," she revealed.

Well, we hope her de-glam look for Kaminey makes for another cover page once the film releases.
