David Ferrer made sure Richard Gasquet did not trouble him at all; he disposed off his opponent in straight sets 6-1, 6-1.
The man who joins Ferrer in the semifinals is World No. 2 Rafael Nadal.
The Spaniard made short work of a very out of form Novak Djokovic. The Serbian crumbled in straight sets 4-6, 4-6.
