Hyderabad: A case against Tollywood actor Akkineni Nagarjuna has been booked on Saturday for allegedly abusing a woman freelancer.
Inspector K Narasinga Rao said the freelancer of an English daily met Nagarjuna for an interview on his forthcoming film. He gave her an appointment on September 29.
During the interview, he picked an argument with her alleging she had given false news about him in her earlier article. The complainant alleged that Nagarjuna had abused and insulted her.

A case under sections 506 and 509 of IPC was registered against Nagarjuna.
