A group called 'Yuva Ghantanand' was protesting outside the venue where Kejriwal was.
They tried to gherao Kejriwal's car when he was leaving, following which there was a scuffle.
This is the second time in less than a month when Kejriwal has been targeted. In October, he was attacked at a public meeting in Lucknow when a man hurled a shoe at Kejriwal saying he was misleading the public on the issue of corruption.
Earlier, Team Anna member Prashant Bhushan was also attacked in October and then a similar scuffle broke out between his supporters and opponents outside a Delhi court.
