Nainital HC bars arrest of Ramdev aide till August 29

New Delhi: Nainital High Court barred Yoga guru Baba Ramdev's aide Acharya Balkrishna arrest on Friday till August 29 providing temporary relief to him. He was to appear on Friday before the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Balkrishna had the Uttarakhand High Court seeking anticipatory bail.

Meanwhile CBI has re-summoned Balkrishna on August 4. CBI was preparing to approach court to seek a warrant against Balkrishna.

Balkrishna was summoned by the central probe agency and he had again written to CBI seeking 10 days time to get his passport.

Balkrishna is wanted in a cheating and forgery case, as well as for forging papers to get a passport.
