When some of her peers are turning down an offer to play the lead role in the southern remake of 'The Dirty Picture', a biopic on Silk Smitha, Namitha has expressed her desire to be part of the project.
"I feel I am the better choice than anyone else to play this role," says the buxom beauty, adding: "I want to play the lead character in the Tamil remake of The Dirty Picture".
Stating that she strongly feels that the role was tailor made for her, the 'Billa' and 'Yei' girl says she is even ready to bring down her remuneration, if she is offered with the role.
"Vidya Balan did complete justice to the Bollywood version. I too will if I am given an opportunity," says Namitha, adding that no one related to the project had approached her so far however.
