Bangalore: It's the celebrity wedding of the year. Infosys founder Narayan Murthy's daughter is set to tie the knot on Sunday to her former Stanford classmate at a private wedding ceremony in Bangalore.

If IT czar Murthy is famously known for Rs 800 wedding, the cost of which he split with this wife, his daughter Akshata is likely to follow family tradition in keeping her wedding an equally private affair.

Akshata will marry classmate Rishi Sunak on Sunday at a ceremony with about 600 guests. Rishi is a Fulbright scholar currently working as a partner at a charitable hedge fund, while Akshata, one of the largest share-holders of Infosys who's worth more than Rs 1,700 crores, is a venture capitalist in California.

The Murthys though will have a quiet ceremony at a Bangalore south wedding hall with a traditional Mysore meal served up by the famed Adigas chain.

The reception will be at one of the city's hottest landmarks - the Leela Palace, where the who's who of India Inc and other sectors will attend to wish the couple at a luncheon.
