Click to play videoBangalore: Former assistant director of the forensic science lab in Bangalore and one of India's most well-known narco analysis experts, Dr S Malini, was sacked on Wednesday by the Karnataka government.
Dr Malini had handled the Telgi stamp paper scam, Arushi murder case, Malegaon and Mecca Masjid blast cases.
The state government while dismissing Dr Malini levelled charges of irregularities against her. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had also alleged irregularities in the forensic test results in the Sister Abhaya murder case in Kerala
Dr Malini is alleged to have forged her birth certificate and education records. She is also accused of leaking information to media.
On Thursday, Dr Malini, in an exclusive interview to CNN-IBN, alleged she was a victim of manipulation by politicians.
"I am not worried about my security. God is there. I have not done anything wrong. I am true to my consciousness. I am honestly, dedicatedly done my service for nine and a half years. So I don't have any fear. The fear was to only those people who have organised all this... because of their fear they have done all this," said Dr Malini.
CNN-IBN: Will you be questioning the government's order?
Dr S Malini: I am taking a legal action.
CNN-IBN: What will you be doing about it? Will you be approaching the KAT? What is the next plan of action?
Dr S Malini: I have to discuss with my advocate.
CNN-IBN: What about the particular allegation about the inquiry by the CBI. Did the CBI just come to pickup evidence or was it just an enquiry?
Dr S Malini: It was created by a few people.
CNN-IBN: Your narco analysis in the Sister Abhaya case has been giving them important leads which you feel might have led to this?
Dr S Malini: This has been informed to us by a CBI official himself. You must know that when they were arrested, when all the three people were arrested, 164 statements were made by the witness.
CNN-IBN: The issue of date of birth?
Dr S Malini: This is false again. They say that I was born in 1960 whereas my parents were married in 1962. How can I be born before my parents got married?.
CNN-IBN: There is also a demand from the Opposition that the cases that you have investigated so far should be re-opened and re-examined. Do you feel that has any basis at all.
Dr S Malini: I told you it is deep-rooted conspiracy. They might have had a fear that they are involved in it. That is why they might be saying that.
