Nariman, Oberoi cleared, firing on at Taj

Mumbai: The latest developments in the last few hours at the three scenes of operations in Mumbai are as follows:

The NSG has cleared the Nariman House where terrorists had been holed up. Unfortunately, the NSG says 5 hostages inside the building have been killed.

Two terrorists holed up in the building have also been killed.

The final encounter is still on at the Taj Hotel too.

Fresh explosions caused a fire at the Taj Mahal Hotel's banquet hall.

Three people were injured , including one AFP cameraperson, when a terrorist fired at mediapersons oustide the hotel.

Even at this point in time, it is unclear as to how many people are still trapped inside the Taj Hotel.

Operations at Oberoi Hotel are over. All rooms sanitised. NSG in total control.

Two terrorists holed up inside were killed in the operation

Some hostages too are feared killed at hotel Oberoi. Six more bodies recovered on Friday.

Over hundred guests, mostly foreigners have been rescued so far.

Army doing controlled explosions at Nariman house to defuse the explosives left behind by terrorists.
