Mumbai: Veteran actor Navin Nischol’s wife, Geetanjali committed suicide at the couple's residence in Mumbai on Saturday, the police said. She committed suicide by hanging herself.
Property dispute between her husband and his brother Pravin is said to be the reason behind the drastic step.
A couple of months back Geetanjali had alleged that Pravin had left her and Navin homeless. He had them thrown out of the poshhouse in the upmarket Khar area where they used to live. Geetanjali had also claimed that the property was actually owned by her husband.
