New Delhi:Nawaz Sharif is expected to announce the dates of his return to Pakistan in the next few days.
Sources told CNN IBN that Nawaz Sharif was in talks with the Saudi authorities about leaving Jeddah and could even return to Islamabad in time to file his nominations for elections due by Monday.
General Musharraf was in Saudi Arabia two days ago. Although his spokesman denied any contact with Nawaz Sharif, reports suggest that Sharif’s return was discussed with the Saudi royal family. Unlike Nawaz Sharif’s last aborted trip, this time Sharif is likely to land with General Musharraf's sanction.
