Naxals blow up mobile tower in Bihar

New Delhi: Naxal attacks continue in Bihar even as the two-day bandh called by the Naxal came to an end on Tuesday evening.

The red guerillas blew up a mobile tower in Bihar's Sheohar district on Monday.

The Naxals have also torched an empty passenger bus in Sheohar.

Bihar witnessed four Naxal attacks across the state on Tuesday as well.

On Tuesday, the Naxals blew up the railway track at Simutala near Jamui disrupting the crucial Delhi-Howrah rail route.

Armed Naxals had raided the Banshipur railway station and burnt a cabin room in Lakhisarai.

On Monday, the Naxals had destroyed a cellular tower in Aurangabad's Madanpur district.
