New Delhi: Two days before the Kumbh festival begins in Uttar Pradesh evidences have been found that Naxals may be planning a strike.
On December 24, an IED blast in the industralised Naini area in Allahabad left three people severely injured. Highly advanced improvised explosive devices and detonators were recovered from the blast site.
Bomb sqauds say such technology is usually available with the Naxals.
Around 10 people have been detained as part of the investigation.
Police are turning to forensic experts for help as security agencies are concerned that the recent blast could be a lead to even more deadly attacks during the upcoming Kumbh festival which begins on December 31.
