KOCHI: The Director of Public Instruction, Thiruvananthapuram, has approved Lt Col (retd) Loveline Oliver, chairman, Central Board of Anglo-Indian Education, as corporate manager of the schools under the board. The board manages 11 Anglo-Indian schools in the state, including the CCPLM Anglo-Indian High School, Perumanoor. Alexander Correya is the secretary.
The board is planning to implement a scheme for the modernisation of buildings and to increase facilities in classrooms.
The Central Board of Anglo-Indian Education is a registered society of the Anglo Indian community specifically incorporated to manage the 11 schools of the community in the state. It is registered under the literary, scientific and charitable societies.
