The process of filling up vacant seats for the B. Ed. 2013 joint entrance examination will be undertaken in the first week of August. Candidates, who could not turn up for the counselling, will get an opportunity to take admissions. Candidates who had not locked their seats will also get an opportunity.
Lucknow: SKD Academy felicitates meritorious students
SKD Academy felicitated its students on Sunday who topped in the UP Board, CBSE Board, and ISC Board examination. Harshit Srivastava, the first rank holder in UP Board Intermediate exam, was awarded a cash prize of Rs 75,000, along with a bag and watch. Sunil Dutt Maurya and Aishwarya Dutt Maurya were also felicitated.
Lucknow: Woman accuses hospital staff of baby swapping
A twenty two-year-old woman, Kusum Chaurasia accused the staff of Dufferin hospital for allegedly swapping her newborn boy with a baby girl. This created a huge uproar in the hospital. However, the chaos ended with the intervention of police. The police said that a DNA test will be conducted first to assure that the woman did not give birth to a girl. On this, the woman took back her words and accepted that she was the mother of the girl child.
Aligarh: Candidates face difficulty in Math, English paper
About 10,236 candidates appeared in the CBSE organised CTET examination held on Sunday. However, the candidates faced trouble while solving the Math and English paper. To avoid any confusion during examination, an invigilator from the CBSE was allotted.
