Mumbai: Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam and Shiv Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackeray have been involved in a slanging match once again. While Nirupam said that North Indians could bring Mumbai to a halt, Thackeray replied by threatening to physically attack the Congress leader.
Nirupam said in Nagpur that North Indians could bring Mumbai to a halt in a matter of days' time if they chose to while referring to attacks on the community in Maharashtra.
Thackarey responded BY saying elections that as are round the corner such statements are a ploy to break Mumbai.
"I dare Nirupam to carry out his threat. The Congress is corrupt with a doubt. As the elections are nearing they have no agenda. They are trying to divide people for political mileage. If he tries to disrupt activities in Mumbai I will break his teeth," said Thackeray.
