Nissan has launched their people mover in India, the Evalia. Starting at a price of Rs 8.49 lakh, ex-Delhi and available in four trims, the Evalia will compete with the likes of the Toyota Innova and Mahindra Xylo.
The Evalia has an 85PS K9K engine with 200Nm of torque being available from 2000rpm. A 5-speed manual transmission transfers all the power to the front wheels. Nissan claims a fuel efficiency of 19.3kmpl. Inside the cabin, the lack of a transmission tunnel intrusion means that the Evalia promises lots of space for passengers.
Also, the third row occupants have their own aircon vents and controller. There's also quite a bit of luggage space even with the third row up.

Nissan Evalia prices - Rs 8.49 lakh for XE, Rs 8.92 lakh for XE+, Rs 9.49 lakh for XL and Rs 9.99 lakh for XV.
Standard safety features in the Evalia include ABS and EBD with a reverse camera being offered on the top of the line trim. Nissan Evalia prices - Rs 8.49 lakh for XE, Rs 8.92 lakh for XE+, Rs 9.49 lakh for XL and Rs 9.99 lakh for XV ex-Delhi.
