Gandhinagar: The two accused in the Noida serial killings — Moninder Singh Pandher and Surinder Koli alias Satish — were on Friday morning flown to Ahmedabad amidst tight security.
The two accused in in the killing and sexual abuse of at least 17 children in Uttar Pradesh's Nithari village are to undergo narco-analysis, brain mapping and lie detector tests at the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in Gandhinagar.
"We have brought many issues, we want all the missing links which are there in the case so far to be addressed. This is a very important case and we do not want to leave out anything which will benefit the culprits in any way," Noida's DSP Dinesh Yadav said.
Experts say the tests are time consuming as a thorough personality check needs to be done first.
"At present, we are interacting with the two accused. We are trying to acertain their physical, psychological, mental condition," Director of FSL Dr JM Vyas said.
The two accused spent most of the day getting used to their surroundings. But sources said that so far the two are showing no remorse whatsoever.
It could be four or even five days before anything concrete emerges, but time may be running out for the police as the custody of the accused ends on the January 10.
