Moninder's friend Rajesh Sharma said, "He has been framed. He can’t harm any one".
Nithari is convinced that this man was responsible for the death of 38 innocent children but Moninder's friends and acquaintances do not agree.
Does Moninder have a split personality? Friends and family members say he could not be the killer – however Nithari villagers don’t agree.
Moninder Singh has the best credentials – a rich and educated man. He lost his mother when he was eight and three years ago got separated from his wife.
That’s when he took to drinking heavily, probably that was also when he gave into perversion and the result is that outside his immediate friend circle not many would like to know him.
Noida Bar association might have called for a boycott of Moninder but one of his friends has decided to stand by him.
Moninder’s friend Deepak Kumar Thakur said, "The opportunity must be given to be defended whether he is accused of pick pocketing or a heinous crime. A full and fair investigation must be done in Nithari case."
Police says Moninder has so far not given any straight answer during interrogation. They are hopeful that a narcotic analysis test will give them the actual picture and may be tell the world who the real Moninder Singh actually is.
