New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) says it has no problem if Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar campaigns against Narendra Modi in Gujarat. Speaking to CNN-IBN's Karan Thapar, BJP leader Arun Jaitley said that the national-level alliance with the JD(U) will not be affected by state-level decisions.
"Allies express their opinions and they have the right to do so. The allies' expression will not affect our national alliance. If allies contest separately in states, it doesn't affect our alliance at a national level," Jaitley said.
JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav on Monday said Nitish Kumar will campaign against Modi in Gujarat. He also said that his party can have an alliance with the BJP in any other state but Gujarat.
