New Delhi: With the US House of Representatives approving the Indo-US nuclear deal, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday said that there was no need to comment on every procedural step taken by the US on the N-deal.
Members of the BJP refused to comment on the US House of Representatives' approval to the Bill.
"There is no need to comment on every procedural step taken by the US government on the Nuclear Deal. The bill has gone to just one House of the US Congress. It has to still go to the Senate. Only then, will the final picture of the deal emerge," said BJP spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad.
After a lot of drama and suspense, the US House of Representatives passed the Bill on the deal on an unusual extra day of sitting on Saturday.
It was a move achieved with bi-partisan support but a considerable number of Democrats voted against it.
