New Delhi: In Uttar Pradesh, the cake is literally crumbling for Chief Minister Mayawati. Known for her flashy birthday celebrations, the UP Chief Minister has finally decided to do away with the frills and fanfare this year.
The BSP supremo wants to celebrate the day as 'Virodhi Party Dhikkar Diwas'.
She has directed all the district headquarters of the BSP to spread the message that she is being unnecessarily targetted by the rival Samajwadi Party.
The decision not to have a grand birthday comes after all the criticism she faced over the death of the PWD engineer MK Gupta who was allegedly beaten to death by the BSP MLA Shekhar Tiwari.
