Click to play videoNew Delhi: A woman and her daughter thought they had duped all when they walked out of a jewellery shop in Delhi after stealing a necklace worth Rs one lakh. They did fool the shop’s managers but the not the cameras.
The two women came to the jewellery shop in Rohini last month and said they wanted to buy ornaments for a wedding. A video recorded on security cameras shows the women checking several ornaments, and then one of them quietly pockets a necklace and hides it under her shawl. After stealing the ornament, the women quickly walked out of the shop.
The Delhi Police are relying on the video to arrest the two women who have still not been traced.
