No racial profiling in Dana Sangma suicide case: Amity University

New Delhi: In a latest on the Dana Sangma suicide case, the Amity University where she was studying on Friday claimed its investigation shows that Dana was cheating using her mobile phone during an exam.

Dana committed suicide after the exam invigilator confronted her. The University has denied charges that it is a case of racial profiling. Her family alleges that she was deliberately humiliated by the examiner.

Police have already filed a case of abatement to suicide. Dana was the niece of Meghalaya Chief Minister Mukul Sangma.
