New Delhi: India will continue to face terror threats from the next two decades, an internal document of the government says.
The document, meant for restricted circulation, has raised concerns about India's security scenario and says there will be no relief from threats till at least 2025.
Besides mentioning the Directorate for Inter-Services Intelligence's (ISI) plans to keep terrorism alive in Kashmir and stroking fundamentalism, the document also warns about the illegal influx from Bangladesh.
The document mentions that illegal migrants from Bangladesh could influence results of some Assembly segments in Delhi and Assam and also the results of some Lok Sabha constituencies.
It also says terror cells are being established in south India, and underworld in Maharashtra and Gujarat are also joining hands.
The document points out that the threats are increasingly interlinked and need an equally determined, well-thought-out response.
