Josef Fritzl, who kept his daughter imprisoned in the house for 24 years and raped her repeatedly, is now offering the house where he kept her on rent.
The earlier tenants of Fritzl's three-story building had terminated their contracts and moved out after he was arrested as they could not bear to live there anymore.
Fritzl is now reported to have hired a senior lawyer to deal with his property and rent out the flats in his home where he kept his daughter imprisoned and used her as a sex slave for 24 years.
Though the cellar in which he kept her will be sealed till the proceedings of the case are completed, Fritzl is under no legal binding to abstain from renting the rest of the house.
It was also reported that Fritzl's legal representatives will be taking legal action against newspapers that infringed on his personal rights in their reports. Currently, Fritzl is in the St Poelten remand prison.
