Nokia unveils the entry-level Lumia 510 Windows smartphone

New Delhi: The newest addition to struggling phone manufacturer Nokia's Lumia Windows Phone devices is the Lumia 510. The Nokia Lumia 510 has been aggressively priced by Nokia below Rs 11,000. Nokia says it will reveal the exact price a day before it is available in the market.

The entry-level Windows phone was unveiled in New Delhi, as a part of the phone's global launch. Nokia said the phone will be available in India in the next two weeks. Nokia says the Lumia 510 is its most affordable Lumia phone yet.

The Lumia 510 is a Windows Phone 7.5 device. It has a 4-inch WVGA 800x480 TFT capacitive touchscreen. The phone comes with a 1300 mAh battery and has a 5 megapixel rear camera. The Lumia 510 does not have a front camera.

The Nokia Lumia 510 will be competitively priced below Rs 11,000.

Nokia's newest smartphone is powered by an 800 MHz Qualcom Snapdragon S1 processor and has 256MB of RAM. The phone comes with 4GB built-in memory and Nokia has included 7GB of free SkyDrive cloud storage. The Lumia 510 does not have a microSD card slot for additional storage.

The Nokia Lumia 510 will be available five colours: red, yellow, cyan, white and black.
