CNN-IBN

New Delhi: The Nampally Court in Hyderabad has issued a non-bailable warrant against veteran Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar in a cheque bounce case.

The complainant - Deccan Cements Limited - had recieved the cheques nearly eight years ago from the actor.

Back then, Dilip Kumar worked as a director of a trading company, G K Exim India Limited registered in Kolkata and Deccan Cements Limited invested Rs 1 crore in the company.

When Deccan Cements wanted their money back, Dilip Kumar's company made the payment through two cheques.

But both the cheques bounced back forcing the company to resort to legal recourse.
