Sadalpur (Rajasthan): Steel magnate and one of the world's richest men, LN Mittal visited his roots in Sadulpur, a small town in Churu district of Rajasthan. This was only his second visit in 30 years.
He may be the man of Steel but the affection showed by the people of Sadulpur was enough to melt him.
This was just LN Mittal's second visit to his native town tucked away in Shekhawati in Rajastathan.
He was visibly overwhelmed by the sheer number of people who came out to greet him. He even spoke to them in his mother tongue – Marwari.
Mittal said, “I'm touched by your warmth, love and excitement. I was born here 56 years back, 30 yrs back I came here but after that there was no occasion to come but Rajgarh is very important for us. When I meet people abroad I tell people with a lot of pride that I was born in Rajgarh, which is near Sadulpur station.”
Mittal along with his family, inaugurated a community centre in Sadulpur before visiting the house where he was born. In a piece of advice for the young people of Rajgarh Mittal said information technology is the future and the way to go for the young people of Rajgarh.
“IT is the future, all of you must try to learn IT and the young people of Rajgarh must take it up, “ Mittal added.
Amidst popular demand by the people to 'make Rajgarh another Bangalore' Mittal said it was the duty of our politicians to ensure the every village of Rajasthan is as developed as Mumbai.
A touched Steel king left his hometown after four hours with a promise to return soon.
