It is not enough if you watch the movie of your favourite star and carry on with your life. If you are a true fan, Mohan Babu exhorts, you should work day in, day out to put out big cut-outs, banners so forth, even by climbing current poles. What a definition!
Believe it or not, this is what the self-christened Legend of Telugu Cinema said while speaking at the audio launch function of 'Denikaina Ready'. "Not everyone who watches his favourite star's movie would be called a fan. He should give up his work and even go to the extent of climbing up current poles to put out big cut-outs and banners day in and day out. I am proud of the fact that I have such fans for me," he said.
True fans will get something in return, of course. "I am indebted to them for all my lives (to come)," he said.

\"A fan should give up his work and even go to the extent of climbing up current poles,\" exhorted Mohan Babu.
It is disturbing that a recipient of Padma Sri, a former Rajya Sabha member, an educational entrepreneur (forgive us for not calling him an educationist) has openly encouraged youngsters to squander away their money and energies over unproductive activities for the selfish good of film stars.
