Karnataka Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda says he is happy that BS Yeddyurappa is out of jail. Gowda, who replaced scam-tainted Yeddyurappa as the Chief Minister of Karnataka, three months ago spoke to CNN-IBN in New Delhi. Gowda was in the national capital on official work.

CNN-IBN: BS Yeddyurappa has got bail. What's your reaction?

DV Sadananda Gowda: I am very happy. I have been saying that these are just allegations and he will come out clean. He is our leader. We look upto him.

I can now go to him often seeking his guidance. I can't comment on court proceedings.

CNN-IBN: Do you think that Yeddyurappa will once again be active in state politics?

DV Sadananda Gowda: Yes. He will. He is our leader. If he tours the entire state, it will certainly help party and government.

CNN-IBN: Do you see any threat to your government?

DV Sadananda Gowda: Not at all. I became chief minister with full support. Yeddyurappa's release will strengthen the government.

CNN-IBN: When are you meeting him?

DV Sadananda Gowda: I will return to Bangalore late in the night, will meet him tomorrow. Our party workers are happy.

CNN-IBN: How is the administration? Are you confident that you will complete the term?

DV Sadananda Gowda: Yes. Certainly! We are doing well. We are focussing on development. Our road show on food industry 'Bounteous Karnataka' has been a huge success in New Delhi. We are back on track.

CNN-IBN: What about the officials allegedly involved in illegal mining scam?

DV Sadananda Gowda: Action will be taken after a thorough probe.
