Now India can fire missiles under the sea

New Delhi: India is now capable of firing a nuclear capable ballistic missile from under the sea.

Top defence scientists told CNN IBN in Delhi today that the K-15 missile is due for its sixth and final test launch from an underwater platform later this week.

The missile will have a range of 700 km.

With that, India now has the capability to launch nuclear weapons from land, sea and air.

The scientists also disclosed to CNN IBN that the second test firing of the 3,500 km range Agni-III will be carried out within a month.
