Ghazipur: A CBI team on Wednesday conducted searches at the district hospital in Ghazipur in connection with the National Rural Health Mission scam. The two-member team checked documents and also took custody of some papers, official sources said.
This is the third CBI raid in the district in the past 20 days.
A week ago the agency had taken into its possession documents and bank statements relating to the sale-purchase of medicines at the Community Health Centres and Primary Health Centres in 16 blocks of the district.
The sale-purchases were made during 2005-2011, the sources said.
