Ghaziabad: A special CBI court has extended by 14 days the judicial custody of former Uttar Pradesh health minister Babu Singh Kushwaha and eight others, arrested for their alleged roles in the multi-crore NRHM scam.
All the accused were brought from Dasna district jail to the court and were produced before the special CBI judge AK Singh on Tuesday.
They will now be produced on May 29.

Besides Kushwaha, UP MLC RP Jaiswal, project manager design UP jal nigam BN Srivastva, resident engineer jal nigam B Ram Yadav, accountant jal nigam JK Singh, managing director jal nigam PK Jain and three others Naresh Grover, RK Singh and K Singh were produced before the court.
Three more accused in the scam, medicines suppliers Saurabh and Vivek Jain from Moradabad and managing director UP state industrial corporation Abhay Vajpayee will appear in court on May 28 as Vajpayee did not appear on Monday in court after getting bail from court.
He was the first accused to get bail from court on 19th of last month.
