Gurgaon: An unauthorised nursing home called Buala Nursing Home near Gurgaon was sealed late Wednesday night after burnt foetuses was recovered from its compound.

The nursing home used to carry out pre natal sex determination inspite of laws prohibiting it.

The determination was allegedly conducted by a quack who has already been convicted of similar misdeeds.

Says deputy director Drugs controllers, Haryana, G L Singhal, “He is a convicted person and he was conducting sex determination in Gurgaon.”

The owner of the nursing home however, denies the charges even after these burnt foetuses were found from the nursing home compound on Wednesday.

“This is illegal. They have given the notice without my consent and information,” says owner, Buala Nursing Home, A K Singh.

The Gurgaon police has registered a case against Singh and has sealed the nursing home.

The nursing home was raided and a case has been registered against it,” says ASP, Gurgaon, Anil Dhawan.

So it is time that the administration cracks down on unauthorised clinics across the city.
