New Delhi: There seems to be no breather for the US President elect. Barack Obama is now busy organizing his transition team.
The team interestingly could have several Indian Americans like Indira Nooyi, Preeta bansal and Sonal Shah.

Obama has a little over two months to get his 15 member transition team in place. It is this team that will, with the officials of the current administration, bone up on policy details ranging from the economy and recession to defence and terrorism and flesh out his political agenda.
The names of two White House veterans for the transition team are already up former Clinton aide John Podesta will chair the transition team, while Obama's close friend Rahm Emmanuel is tipped to be chief of staff effectively he will be Obama's most trusted aide
“I am honoured to be considered, and I am honored that voters from Chicago once again chose to reelect me,” says Rahm Emmanuel.
There are others fellow African American from Chicago Vaelrie Jarrett is tipped to join also Pete Rouse currently Obama's chief of staff in the Senate. There are two Indian Americans, lawyer Preeta Bansal will advise on personnel while Sonal Shah will look at technology issues
Other Indian Americans could conceivably find place in the Obama cabinet is Pepsico chairperson Indra Nooyi who is seen by some as a potential trade repetitive and Newsweek International Editor Farid Zakaria as national security adviser.
Others with considerable experience of India could be Strobe Talbot a potential secretary of state others would prefer someone seen as even closer to India former president Bill Clinton.
