New Delhi: Danny Ocean and his gang are back and this time they have first hit the French Riviera resort, Cannes.
The reason for their return as actor George Clooney put it, “We felt that Twelve was not certainly received as well. So, we wanted another crack too.”
So with the arrival of the Ocean Thirteen stars including George Clooney, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle and Brad Pitt, it is definitely raining superstars in Cannes.
The Hollywood heavyweights hit the festival on Tuesday to promote the latest sequel in the Oceans franchise.
Said Brad Pitt, “It is really nice, man. It is just great to be here. It is the pinnacle of the festivals, and to kick it off this way and to bring everyone here is a great excuse for us.”
“It is great to be here first time. I brought the kids, and they are swimming, and it is just a cool shot,” Cheadle added.
And as they say it hasn’t been easy for the gang-mates to come together once again for the third time.
Clooney: "Matt, Brad has had it tough."
Damon: "Brad has had it tough. He's..."
Clooney: "Hobbled with children..."
Damon: "And that wife..."
Clooney: "That horrible, ugly wife."
Damon: "I mean, to go home to her everyday..."
Clooney: "What do you do? Kill yourself, I guess. There is not much left."
Damon: "Well, you have your work. That is about it. You can take refuge there."
So to speak, Danny Ocean and his gang did have it tough this time as they are pitted against Al Pacino who plays ruthless casino owner Willy Bank, who double crosses one of the original Ocean's Eleven, Reuben Tishkoff.
And now it is up to Ocean's Thirteen to save their old friend.
And will they be able to outwit the wily Willy Bank, for that we will have to wait till Ocean's Thirteen hits theatres in India on June 8.
