It could not have been better. Works of Monet, Matisse, Picasso and Dalí, worth a total of £30 million have been stolen from the Chacara do Ceu museum in Rio de Janeiro on Friday night. Four masked gunmen stole the paintings and then disappeared in the Rio carnival crowd dresssed in masks and fancy dress. It's thrilling to find paintings stolen in the days of high security as much it is thrilling to find that Lady Diana's driver the one which went her and Dodi, was a French Spy. Next we need some pirates, classic pirates. And I swear I will be off in my Hispaniola for my Treasure Island. Just look for someone who can sing Fifteen men on the deadman's chest, ya ho ho ho and a bottle of rum!
