'Oka Romantic Crime Katha' to hit theatres soon

P Sunil Kumar Reddy of ‘Sontha Vooru’ and ‘Gangaputrulu’ is known for telling compelling stories. If it was the 'sell-out' of the village land (SEZs) and the exploitation of the coast, respectively, in this first two films, his ‘Oka Romantic Crime Katha’ is a take on the issues like teen love, teen sex and abortions, which have become common place in the modern society. The director says, "Owing to various social factors and technological advancement, youngsters of today are undergoing psychological stress. Boundaries are blurring fast. Set against this backdrop, ORCK tells the stories of a tenth standard, an intermediate and a degree girl." Although the problems have been dealt with in his serious style, the film is high on entertainment quotient.

The film features Manoj Nandam, Sai Anil, Gayathri, Divya Swapna, Bobby and others. It has cinematography by Sabu James. Music is by Praveen Immadi. Sunil has written the story.
