New Delhi: Olympic gold medallist swimmer Amanda Beard is doing what she does best - swimming. But she is also busy displaying her other assets in pursuit of a dream to be on the cover of Playboy.
And yes, her parents agreed with her.
"I want, 20 or 30 years down the road, to be able to look back at a cover of me on the cover of Playboy. I think that's very special. It's very cool. Something like this just keeps my life real colourful and real fun and it mixes things up. If it distracts my competitors a little bit, that's fine with me," she says.
Amanda next prepares to get back into her swimsuit for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. And for the time being her "barely there" shoots can wait.
