London: In the men's 74kg freestysle Olympic wrestling competition here at the ExCel arena on Friday, India's Narsingh Pancham Yadav crashed out after losing to his Canadian counterpart in the Round of 16.
Narsingh lost his pre-quarter-final contest against Canada's Matthew Judah Gentry who scripted a comfortable 3-1 victory.
Gentry took control of the contest, winning the first period 3-0 on technical points, and though the Indian fought better in the second round, which ended 1-1, it was not enough to stop the Canadian from progressing to the next round.

The Indian had no luck to progress to the repechage round as his vanquisher also lost in the subsequent round.
Gentry clearly appeared to be a technically superior wrestler as he never allowed Narsing to pin him down or give him any grip advantage right through the contest.
Narsingh, however, had no luck to progress to the repechage round as his vanquisher also lost in the subsequent round to put an end to the Indian's Olympics participation.
