Chennai: A worker at the Chennai Airport was crushed to death on Thursday by a speeding bus. The incident took place at 0630 hours IST.
Shiva, who was working for a company called Universal Aviation, was a cleaner at the airport. Universal Aviation handles ramp operations for Kingfisher airlines.
The victim was walking on the runway when the passenger coach, which was returning after off loading passengers, crushed Shiva.
He was killed on the spot, police said.
The driver of the bus has been identified and arrested.
