Academy Award winning director Ang Lee will be visiting India next week to promote his film, 'Life of Pi'. The director will be visiting Chennai and Mumbai during his visit and will be presenting an extended 20 minutes of the film to fans in an attempt to showcase the marvellous nature of his film.
Shot in India, 'Life of Pi' depicts the story of a boy who gets stranded in a lifeboat with a Bengal tiger after his parents die in a shipwreck. The film features some of the most scenic locations in India, never before seen in a Hollywood movie, and has an Indian debutant, Suraj Sharma playing the lead along with the likes of Tabu and Irfan Khan joining the gang.
'Life of Pi' showcases the markets of Pondicherry with people wearing exuberant saris and the hillside down of Munnar splendidly in 3D. They are sure to look great on screen and with some top Indian names in the cast list, it will sure be a great ambassador for India at Hollywood. Considering Ang Lee's track record with films like 'Sense and Sensibility', 'Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon' and 'Brokeback Mountain', this one might be the biggest break for India at the Academy Awards.

Ang is scheduled to arrive in India on 28th October 2012 and will visits two cities, Mumbai-Chennai, where he will also showcase exclusive visuals from the film for a select audience!"
So you better be at Sathyam Cinemas to see Ang Lee arrive, it might just be the chance of your lifetime.
